Technology Around the World
Technology in Asia
Technology has been growing throughout the world and even some countries have their economy based on the innovation of technology. Asia has events like Computex in Taiwan every year to show case the new technology that will be release throughout the years. Back before we had Computex in Asia, countries like Japan made semiconductors and a company named SONY made portable radios and later to today to make televisions, cell phones, entertainment consoles, and much more. Just the technology industry in Japan accounts for about 20% of their economic income. Asia might have its share of technologic break troughs but other parts of the world have also a technology base in them.

Technology in Central America
In Costa Rica, companies like Intel manufacture their processor and motherboards in factories built around Costa Rica. Because of outside businesses like Intel going into Costa Rica and creating jobs for the people, this makes the country’s economy the highest in Central America. Since there is no tax for placing businesses in Costa Rica, many companies take the opportunity to come in and make jobs for the people and produce technology we use every day.

In the Middle East, countries like United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia build huge, colossal buildings like no other around the world. The Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building at the moment and the design and constructions of the huge buildings took technology to help them throughout the journey of the building process. The design of the building was created by architects and engineers with the help of technology to have a beautiful design and protect the buildings from the natural disasters that occur in those areas; most likely it would be sand storms. The acceptance of technology had helped may countries with completing their dreams and design future projects.

Africa might seem that they have the least technologic growth out of every area in the world but their advances in technology have soon great accomplishment for those who support the technology programs in Africa. Kelvin Doe is a Sierra Leone teenager whom has made a radio station for his community and power sources for the people who don’t have power to have lights with a small battery powered generator. He was even invited to M.I.T to work with college students so he could further learn about technology and how to fix problems in his community. His radio name is DJ Focus because he thinks if you focus you can do anything. Even in poor countries, people use technology to solve issues in communities.
